Shape Machining Ltd has added a weekend shift at their Oxfordshire facility. This additional capacity comes at a time of continued growth for the multi-axis machining company.

The addition of a weekend shift compliments the current shift pattern and means that Shape now has a continuous 7 day week operational capacity.

Managing Director, Peter McCool commented “I am exceedingly pleased that we can now offer our customers a continuous 7 day week of machining capacity. We have listened to our customers and what they often wanted was to have patterns or parts that were design released on a Friday, machined over the weekend so that they could make the moulds on Monday. By strengthening our team and adding a Saturday and Sunday shift we now can ”

The new 7 day pattern which started from the 1st of August will be in place all year round at Shape.

Shape specialises in machining epoxy tooling block patterns, Rohacell foams and the trimming of carbon fibre parts for the automotive, motorsport and aerospace industry.
