CNC Operator - Evening/Night Shift
SHAPE is a dynamic and growing business, motivated to bolstering experience and expertise across the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic CNC machine operator to join our team on the evening/night shift. You will enjoy working in a modern pattern shop environment, to tight deadlines and working to exacting customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Operating CMS Ares/Antares 5-axis milling machines with Fanuc controllers.

Operating Dugard 1000 3-axis machines with Fanuc controllers.
-
Blocking up and preparing jobs for machining.
- Working to a delivery schedule agreed with the Production Manager.
ABOUT YOU
We expect you to have:

Experience in 5-axis pattern machining (Epoxy/PU/Composite materials)

Good experience in operating CNC machines with Fanuc controllers.

Excellent communication and team working skills.

A good ability to use your initiative and respond quickly to problems.

Ability to work well within a small team.
We’re impressed if you have:
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5 CNC programming software

CMM Inspector
SHAPE is a dynamic and growing business, motivated to bolstering experience and expertise across the team. We are looking for a meticulous CMM Inspector to work alongside our experienced engineering team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading Inspection and Quality activities, working to tight lead-times, to rigorous customer standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

CMM inspection of 5-axis machined components.

Generation of inspection reports.
-
FAIR creation (where required) highlighting key feature dimensions.

Non-conformance reporting and correctional action for continual improvement.
- Continually develop internal quality procedures in line with ISO9001.
ABOUT YOU:
What we are looking for:
-
A minimum of 2years CMM Inspection experience. Patterns, 5-axis machined (Epoxy/PU) products.

Strong knowledge of GD&T principles with the ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Good understanding of datum structures, application, and alignment.

Experience of Polyworks (or similar)
-
Experience of using a Faro arm.

Understanding of mechanical inspection equipment.
-
Confident in communicating with customers and quality teams.

A good ability to use your initiative and respond quickly to problems.

Ability to liaise efficiently with production.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication.

LOCATION
