SHAPE machines patterns and moulds directly from customer CAD data (STEP, IGES or other CAD file format). Epoxy tooling block patterns are typically required by the aerospace/motorsport industries to manufacture autoclave cured carbon fibre composite tooling.

SHAPE provides an accurate quote for price and delivery based on CAD data provided by the customer. On receipt of a Purchase Order (PO) or order confirmation the part is CNC programmed and scheduled into the machine shop. All parts are fully CNC machined and inspected to agreed customer specific requirements.

The in-house CAD/CAM team use industry leading Catia V5 software for all CNC tool path programming.

A max bed size of 2.6 x 1.5 x 1.0m is available on the large 5-axis milling machines at SHAPE.

A full inspection report can be supplied with each pattern based on accurate laser scan data using the latest inspection arm equipment.
