SHAPE has a wide and diverse range of customers who often require unusual non-metallic parts to be machined.
The SHAPE pattern shop has extensive experience machining a range of foams (e.g. EPS, EPP, PET) and woods for a wide variety of customers.
As an example SHAPE has machined the following “non-engineering” parts: shop display models, artificial limbs, sports bats, boomerangs, model animals and various complex foam seats.
We will consider all requests for unusual parts to machine as we find we always learn something new when machining something “non-standard”.
