PU fixtures and jigs
We design and machine polyurethane board fixtures, jigs and check fixtures to hold, locate and check your parts. Vacuum fixtures, machining fixtures and trim fixtures, built in-house and proven on our own machines.
A fixture is only as good as the part it holds. We build our own for jobs that give us nothing to clamp on to, so we know what makes one work: datums that match the CAD, vacuum where clamps would mark the part, and locators that put the part in the same place every time.
What we build
- Vacuum fixtures machined from PU board, with drilled or pocketed vacuum faces matched to the part surface.
- Machining and trim fixtures for foam, tooling board and cured carbon components.
- Check fixtures and drill jigs built to your datum scheme.
- 3D printed locators, stops and clamp pads where a printed detail does the job better than a machined one.
Why polyurethane board
PU board machines quickly, holds a datum, and is light enough to move between machines by hand. For one-offs and short runs it gets you a working fixture in days rather than weeks. Where a fixture has to stand up to heavier use we can cut the same design from epoxy board.
How we work
Send a STEP file of the part and tell us what the fixture is for: holding it for machining, trimming, drilling or inspection. We design the fixture around your datum scheme, machine it, and check it on the Creaform MetraSCAN against the model before it ships. Fixtures we build for our own machining are proven on the job before you see them.

If we machine the parts as well, the fixture can ship with them or stay here for repeat batches. Either way it is yours.
We do not need one in place to quote, but we will sign yours on request. We do so regularly for motorsport and defence work.
