Creaform Scanner

Transforming Quality Control

Precision In Every
Dimension.
Perfect 3D Scans.

Quality Assurance

The Creaform MetraSCAN BLACK|Elite is a portable optical CMM scanner delivering metrology-grade 3D scanning, with the HandyPROBE Next adding wireless touch probing in the same coordinate system. Our FARO arm stays in service as a calibrated back-up.

Flexibility

Its portable, handheld design and resilience to vibration and temperature change make it easy to use on the shop floor, in the machine or in confined spaces, which suits motorsport, aerospace and defence work.

Sub-millimeter accuracy

Whether used for first-article inspection, reverse engineering or tooling and fixture verification, its blue laser crosses capture millions of accurate data points in minutes on dark, shiny and mixed surfaces.

Versatility

Scan data feeds straight into PolyWorks for colour deviation mapping and faster inspection reporting, giving customers clear, traceable evidence that every part meets specification.

Design & Programming

CATIA’s robust 3D modelling tools allow us to design, simulate, and program complex parts before machining. By modelling and programming directly within CATIA,  every detail is accounted for from the initial design phase through to the final machining operations.

Detection

VERICUT is a software used for simulating CNC machining processes to detect errors, collisions, or inefficiencies before actual machining occurs. It allows manufacturers to verify tool paths, optimise cutting operations, and ensure the accuracy of their CNC programs. By simulating the entire machining process, VERICUT helps reduce costly errors, improve machine efficiency, and ensure the quality of final parts.
