When you use our contact or quote forms we collect the details you provide: name, company, email address, telephone number, your message and any files you upload (for example CAD data or drawings). We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited through our hosting provider's logs and any analytics tools in use.
We use your data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, deliver and support work you commission from us, and meet our legal and quality obligations (including ISO 9001 record keeping). Our lawful bases are performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one, our legitimate interests in running and promoting our business, and compliance with legal obligations.
CAD models, drawings and specifications are treated as confidential and used only to quote for and carry out your work. We will sign a non-disclosure agreement on request. Files are stored on access-controlled systems and retained in line with our quality procedures.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (website hosting on Webflow, email, our ERP system, logistics partners for deliveries) and where required by law. Some providers process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
Enquiry data is kept for up to two years from our last contact. Data relating to work we carry out is kept for the period required by our quality system and customer contracts, typically a minimum of seven years for aerospace and defence work.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and ask for data portability.
