CNC Programmer

We're Hiring – CNC Programmer (Contract)

On-site/Hybrid in Witney, Oxfordshire

SHAPE Machining Ltd is looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to join our growing team on a contract basis.

Founded by former F1 Chief Designer Peter McCool, SHAPE is a leader in precision machined tooling for the motorsport, automotive, and aerospace sectors.

About the Role:

As a CNC Programmer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Creating and optimising CNC programs

• Operating 5-axis CMS machines

• Interpreting technical drawings and CAD data

• Ensuring the highest standards of precision in composite tooling and pattern work

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in CNC programming, machining, and milling

• CATIA V5 experience preferred

• Strong technical drawing interpretation skills

• Familiarity with CAD/CAM technologies

• Background in motorsport, automotive, or aerospace is a plus

• Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset

Our office and manufacturing site are based in Witney, which is 10 miles West of Oxford City and has good public transport links, parking, and access to local amenities.
