Shape Machining Ltd has added extra capacity to the Engineering and Design team.Recent recruitment at Shape has seen the arrival to 2 more Engineers to significantly increase the experience and design capability of the company.Traditionally Shape manufactures patterns and moulds to designs and specifications defined by the customer. But increasingly the customer has asked Shape to design the composite tooling required to manufacture these parts.Managing Director, Peter McCool commented “Between us we have many years of composite part and tool design experience and now with a dedicated design team we can take on more tool design work and offer a complete design and manufacturing service.”Shape use Dassault Systems CATIA software for all CNC programming and CAD design.
