SHAPE BUYS THE ASSETS OF FINE CUT ADVANCED ENGINEERING

Shape Machining Ltd has purchased the assets and goodwill of Fine Cut Advanced Engineering.

Managing Director of Shape, Peter McCool, said “We are really pleased to have taken over the assets, goodwill and employees of Fine Cut Advanced Engineering. They have a strong customer base, extensive aluminium mould machining experience and excellent facilities.

We continue to grow strongly across all market sectors and this additional resource will allow us to offer our customers even more capacity.”

The major assets are 2 large CMS Ares 5-axis machining centres, a Dugard Eagle 3-axis CNC milling machine, Faro Edge laser inspection equipment and the staff.

Shape will continue to operate these assets from their current location in Lancing, Sussex until the additional factory space in Witney comes online in the second quarter of 2018.

McCool added “I am particularly pleased that Shape can now offer a greater range of machined tooling and meet the extra demand for large aluminium tool machining”.
